Have applied I am planning to move
If you move, you must tell the police. If you don’t tell the police, you may lose your possibility to get protection in Norway.
It’s important that UDI and the police know where you live while your application is being processed.
- Do you want to move between asylum reception centres?
- Do you want to move from a reception centre to a private address?
- You don’t live at a reception centre, but you wish to do so.
If you are moving for one private address to another private address, you have to tell the local police. Either the police where you are moving to, or where you lived before. Go to contact information for the police.
If you move without telling the police, you may risk that we dismiss your application. If your application is dismissed, you will not get protection in Norway.
