In some cases, you may lose your residence permit or citizenship.
info
What does revocation mean?
Revocation means that your residence permit or citizenship is no longer valid. It may entail that you are either no longer allowed to live in Norway or that you will be granted a new residence permit to begin a new period of residency in Norway. A permit/citizenship can be revoked, voided or terminated, depending on the context.
If you are waiting for a response in a case of revocation, and you have a spouse, cohabitant or child who also has an application for processing at UDI, their cases may take longer to process. This is because we cannot process your family's cases until we have finished processing your case.
