UDI does not translate documents into other languages

UDI does not translate decisions or other documents from Norwegian into other languages. If you need a decision or other document in another language, you are personally responsible for having the document translated.

Please note that documents to be submitted to public agencies in Norway or Norwegian foreign service missions usually must be translated by an authorised/certified translator.

The UDI Information Service can be reached by phone and via chat during opening hours. The Information Service is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
