Asylum seeker
Не всё содержание этой страницы имеется на русском.
A person is only an asylum seeker from the time he or she reported to the police in Norway and applied for protection (asylum) until UDI or UNE has assessed the application and made a final decision.
When asylum seekers have received a final answer to their applications, they are no longer called asylum seekers.
If they have received a positive answer, they are granted a residence permit as a refugee or on humanitarian grounds.
If UDI's or UNE's final decision on their application is rejection, the applicant must leave Norway.
