When you are asked what type of case you are calling about, press 4 (collective protection, protection, reception centres, immigrant's passport or travel documents), and then press 1 (collective protection).

Please have your DUF number or your national identity number (fødselsnummer) ready when you call. It may also be helpful to keep this webpage open. Your DUF number remains the same even if you register a new application with UDI (it is tied to you as an individual).

We are only allowed to provide information about an individual's case when that person calls, is present for the call or has given written authorisation of Power of Attorney to the person making the call. UDI must have received the Power of Attorney before we can provide any information related to the case.

The members of our Information Service can provide guidance and support in Norwegian and English. You will find information in Ukrainian and Russian on our webpages.
