If your application is approved, you will get help buying tickets and you will receive monetary support at the airport (Gardermoen) on the day of your departure.
If you have a valid travel document in your possession or in the police's possession, UDI can help you with your journey. If you are uncertain whether or not you have a travel document, you can call us.

If you have a residence permit in a country other than Syria, and that permit is valid for at least 6 more months , you may also apply for assisted return to that country. Each application will be assessed individually, and not all applications will be approved.
If you apply before your deadline for departure has passed or before you are given a deadline, you will receive NOK 15 000 in financial support.
If you apply after your deadline for departure has passed, you will receive NOK 5 000 in financial support.
You should not withdraw your application for protection if you are applying for assisted return.
Return decisions issued to Syrian citizens (with the obligation to leave) are still suspended, which means that the police will not escort you out of the country by force.
